2025 Season Details:
 
April 1: Sign Up Period Begins
May 15: Sign Up Period Ends
Late May: Team Selection Process
June 17: Season Begins (Some practices to be held prior to season)

Coaching: Casey Martinez will serve as head coach. Casey played D1 baseball throughout college (Virginia Tech, Sacramento State), was drafted by the Toronto Blue Jays in 2000 and played throughout Minor League Baseball, including A, AA, and AAA. (Bio) Assistant coaches remain TBD.

Team Assembly: The Champlain Valley American Legion team will be selected from available players, with the possibility of a tryout. More details to come. After a position is offered, a deposit will be paid to hold the player’s spot. 

Season Length: The regular season is anticipated to have 18 League games and run from June 17 to July 22. (Non-League games may be added.) Champlain Valley participates in the Vermont American Legion Baseball U19 Senior League (age chart).

State Tournament: The Vermont American Legion Baseball State Tournament is scheduled for July 23 to July 27. The top four teams in both of Vermont's divisions advance to the tournament.

Fees: Player fees are still being calculated. Estimated season fee per player is $925. If you need financial assistance, please let us know.
